Diary of a Chambermaid 2016

A plotting hireling works for a well off couple in France amid the late nineteenth century.

In the mid 1900s, in the French regions. Célestine a lovely and libertarian young lady, who has been procured as a housemaid by the Lanlaires, touches base from Paris at the train station. Joseph, her lords' abrupt cultivator takes her to the house where she is to work. She is "invited" by Mr. Lanlaire who quickly begins petting her. She then meets Mrs. Lanlaire, an extremely upsetting lady with a class prevalence. This bodes sick for what's to come.

In this rich show set in late nineteenth century France, a housekeeper manages the pitilessness and corruptions of the high society while working at a bourgeoisie home in Normandy. In time, she goes into an association with a kindred worker who might be profoundly pained.
